Explanation:
In 2017, City of Hollywood was awarded federal funding through Broward County Metropolitan Planning Organization (Broward MPO) to complete Hollywood Mobility Package No. 1.
The project includes construction of bike lanes along the following roadways:
• Washington Street from 62nd Avenue to Park Road
• 72nd Avenue from Pembroke Road to Johnson Street
Through resolution 2017-334, the City Commission endorsed Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to deliver this project on behalf of the City, fully administering the design and construction phases of the work. The design is now underway and this presentation is done by the design consultant and FDOT representative.
