Explanation:
Due to scheduling difficulties, various Commission meetings will be changed to allow greater flexibility to the Commission, staff and residents.
The second regular Commission meeting on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 shall be rescheduled to Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM with citizens’ comments at 5:00 PM, due to Passover.
The first regular Commission Meeting on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 shall have citizens’ comments at 5:00 PM.
The second regular Commission meeting on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 shall be rescheduled to Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 1:00 PM with citizens’ comments at 5:00 PM. By moving the meetings during the summer it will allow the Commission, staff and residents more time for preparing the next fiscal year’s budget.
The first regular Commission Meeting on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 shall have citizens’ comments at 5:00 PM.
The second regular Commission meeting on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 shall be cancelled.
The first regular Commission meeting on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 shall be cancelled.
By canceling the December and January meetings will allow the Commission, staff and residents more flexibility in preparing items during the holiday season.
Thereafter, regular meetings of the City Commission shall, unless otherwise provided by Resolution, be held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
