Explanation:
On December 6, 2017, per Resolution R-CRA 2017-53, the CRA Board authorized the appropriate CRA officials to negotiate and execute continuing contracts with ranked firms to provide traffic engineering services for capital improvement projects. Marlin Engineering, Inc. and Toole Design Group, LLC were two of the top three ranked firms selected to provide consulting services on a rotating basis.
On March 7, 2018, per Resolution R-CRA-2018-08, the CRA entered into contracts with both companies to provide traffic engineering consulting study services for Phase I of the Young Circle Redesign project. Services accomplished under this contract included, but was not be limited to, traffic engineering studies, project oversight, data collection, traffic analysis, AutoCAD drafting, cost estimates, agency coordination, and other related projects.
Marlin Engineering, Inc. and Toole Design Group, LLC have completed work associated with Phase 1 of the Young Circle Redesign project and the CRA wishes to contract with both companies for Phase II.
The cumulative amount of fees to be paid for architectural and engineering services provided by Marlin Engineering, Inc. shall not exceed $332,175.00, and the cumulative amount of fees to be paid for same services provided by Toole Design Group, LLC. shall not exceed $164,984.00.
