Explanation:

The Fire Rescue and Beach Safety Department is requesting to purchase a new aerial -platform. This will be the second purchase from the GO Bond in the process of replacing some of the units from our aging fleet.

 

We will be purchasing a Pierce 100’ Aerial Platform from Ten-8 Fire Equipment, Inc. The total price for this unit is $1,311,658.00.  This unit will be replacing P-5 which is one of two aerials that currently serves the City of Hollywood. 

 

Ten-8 Fire Equipment, Inc. is offering the City a pre-paid discount of $51,380.00 if the City submits payment within 15 days.
