Explanation:
The National School Lunch Program has served our nation admirably for over 60 years through advanced practices and nutrition education. The food and nutrition services program provides nutritious meals and is a vital part of our students’ total educational experience.
The proclamation will be accepted by Darlene Moppert, Program Manager, Nutrition Education and Training, Food and Nutrition Services Department, School Board of Broward County.
The proclamation will be presented at the October 16, 2019 City Commission meeting.
