Explanation:
In order to continue with the furthering of the CRA objectives of the redevelopment Plan for the Beach District, the CRA intends to continue with Phase IV and SR A1A - Undergrounding of Overhead Utilities and E/W Streetscape Beautification south of Hollywood Boulevard to the southern boundary of the City of Hollywood.
In order to develop a comprehensive project scope, pre scoping and concept development activities need to take place. Pre scoping activities include: concept design development, traffic study configuration results, sustainability analysis and public outreach among others.
The CRA Executive Director recommends the issuance of a Notice To Proceed for the attached proposal with Kimley-Horn and Associates, in an amount not to exceed $82,365.00.
