Explanation:
Since 2010, the Choose Peace - Stop Violence initiative has worked with partners, communities and youth to address the terrible reality of youth violence. The initiative is a collaborative effort led by the United Way of Broward County, the School Board of Broward County and the Children’s Services Council of Broward County.
The proclamation will be accepted by Anita de Jong Fraley, Choose Peace/Stop Violence Program Manager.
The proclamation will be presented at the September 18, 2019 City Commission Meeting.
