Explanation:

The Hollywood Eagles Girls Basketball Team completed a winning season with a 25-4 record and advanced to the U.S. amateur 7^th grade national championship for basketball in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

In addition, on Sunday, June 23, 2019, the 7^th grade Lady Eagles of the Hollywood Eagles Youth Development Program won the U.S. Amateur National for Girls Basketball by defeating Kentucky Fusion 62-32.

The proclamation will be accepted by Richard Walker, CEO and Coach of the Eagles Youth Development Program, Laquetta Fergurson, Assistant Coach Edward Ferguson and the Lady Eagle Girls 7^th Grade Basketball Team.

The proclamation will be presented at the September 18, 2019 City Commission Meeting.
