Explanation:
On May 16, 2019, Notice of Availability for RFP-4612-19-JE for federal lobbying services was released. The Lobbyist will serve in a consulting and advisory capacity to the City of Hollywood for all issues at the federal level. RFP-4612-JE was opened at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019, and resulted in two responses: The Cormac Group, LLP, and Van Scoyoc Associates, Inc.
The proposals were evaluated by three committee members consisting of the Community Development Manager, Budget Division Director and the Assistant City Manager for Finance and Administration; and after the evaluation, the resulting scores were as follows:
Van Scoyoc Associates 283 points
The Cormac Group 277 points
Staff is seeking to execute a contract with the highest ranked firm, Van Scoyoc Associates for a three year period with options to renew for two additional one year periods in an annual amount not to exceed $77,000.00.
