Explanation:
On May 2, 2012 the CRA Board, via R-CRA-2012-25, established a mural review committee for murals that would be located in the Music District of the Downtown District of the CRA.
On March 20, 2019, the City Commission passed and adopted Ordinance No O-2019-03 which repealed Section 8.4 of the Zoning and Land Development regulations that set forth the review process for murals located in the CRA Mural Program Area.
As a result, the CRA wishes to repeal resolution R-CRA-2012-25 and create a grant program that will allow for murals in the Downtown and Beach Districts.
