Explanation:
The "Charles F. Vollman Certificate of Appreciation" award was established by Hollywood Council of Civic Associations to recognize civic involvement in the City of Hollywood.
Mr. Vollman had a passion for maintaining relationship with local neighbors and government officials alike. He believed in building a strong society where his dedication and integrity ensured that all measures carried out in the name of the community was executed by local neighbors and government officials with honor and accepted by all with satisfaction. His unique approach to volunteerism formed the basis for this award.
Numerous nominees were submitted and after careful consideration one outstanding nominee Rachel Silber, was selected.
Rachel does all of that and more on a daily basis, she is an amazing volunteer. Her focus is on helping children and young adults, with an emphasis on education. She touches the lives of so many and has won numerous awards for her work with education and feeding programs.
Rachel is an asset to the Community and well deserving of this Award.
