Explanation:

The Police Department obtained quotes for the removal of four derelict vessels located in ICW by Sheridan Street/North Cove and in ICW by 4000 North Ocean Drive. The Police Department would like to engage Sea Tow Fort Lauderdale to remove the derelict vessels. Funding for the removal of the vessels will come from grant proceeds from the Broward Boating Improvement Program and Florida Inland Navigation District, which was approved by R-2017-239 and R-2019-035. Sea Tow Fort Lauderdale requires the City to indemnify and hold harmless Sea Tow Fort Lauderdale from any and all legal actions arising from the services requested.
