Explanation:
The City of Hollywood, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Advisory Board was established by the City Commission to promote parks, recreation, cultural arts, special events and golf operations within the City.
The Board identifies goals and objectives on an annual basis and provides input on capital improvement projects and community needs, as they relate to the Department.
Presently there are five adult vacancies created by term expiration of Monica Gonzalez and Susan Rakes currently whose term expires on June 30, 2019; the resignation of Jacqueline Carrero whose term expires on June 30, 2020; and the removal of Eleanor Carey-Walker and Denise Fahey whose term expires on June 30, 2021.
Presently there are two youth vacancies created by the term expiration of Shelby Gronvold and Grahm Rubin.
The City Clerk provided notice to the public that positions were available and solicited interest forms from citizens to fill available vacancies.
