Explanation:
The U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the National Safe Boating Council request that National Safe Boating Week, May 18-24, 2019 be observed to bring attention to important life-saving tips for recreational boaters so they can have a safer, more fun experience on the water throughout the year.
The proclamation will be accepted by Ronald W. Hady, Public Affairs Officer, Flotilla 38, of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and a member of the U.S. Coast Guard.
The proclamation will be presented at the May 15, 2019 City Commission Meeting.
