Explanation:
On January 29, 2019, the Hollywood, Florida Community Redevelopment Agency entered into an agreement with Block By Block, Inc. for a Clean and Safe Ambassador Program (Program), to supplement City services provided in Downtown Hollywood. The services described in the Program include litter removal, trash collection, weed removal, graffiti removal, removal of palm fronds from the ground, spot power washing, special projects and hospitality services.
Block By Block staff needs to utilize a truck(s) in order to provide the most efficient and effective level of service to the downtown community. The lease would run concurrent with the blanket purchase order for service, and the proposed lease is similar to a previous lease agreement the CRA had with Block By Block.
