Explanation:
On September 5, 2018, the CRA Board passed Resolution, No. R - CRA 2018-31 authorizing the appropriate CRA officials to execute an agreement for a catalogue purchase of four First-Aid Stations and 15 Lifeguard Towers from Post and Beam, LLC. The 21 units will be fabricated according to the catalogue specifications, excluding the roof membrane components and painting.
CPZ Architects Inc., prepared plans and specifications for the painting of the First Aid Stations and Lifeguard Towers. On February 19, 2019, the CRA issued the bid solicitation for painting project Beach CRA 16-002 painting which was publicly advertised.
Nine bids were received and publicly opened at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, March 11, 2019. The results are shown in Exhibit A. After all received bids were evaluated, the Executive Director of the CRA found the bid submitted by Waterfront Wall Finishes, LLC to be the lowest responsive, responsible bid, and recommends award of the bid to said vendor, in the amount of $62,300.00.
Award of this bid is subject to the outcome of any bid protest that may have been timely submitted before the adoption of this Resolution.
