Explanation:

The City and the Hollywood Professional Firefighters, Local 1375 have negotiated a successor Collective Bargaining Agreement in effect from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018 (the “Agreement”).

The City and the IAFF reached a tentative agreement for a 1-year Agreement effective October 1, 2017, through September 30, 2018. The agreement incorporated the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that was ratified in 2016 regarding overtime and how overtime is distributed (re: the use of the software program Tele-Staff). The agreement also incorporated the MOU ratified in August 2018, which provided a 3% across the board wage increase effective October 1, 2017, created the reformed planned retirement benefit, and rolled back the bi-weekly health contributions for dependent coverage by $40.00 to $130.00 or $165.00 (depending on tier of coverage) through September 30, 2018.
