Explanation:
The Nevada Parking Garage Project includes construction of a new parking garage. On July 3, 2017, the CRA Board awarded Kaufman Lynn Construction Inc. a Construction Management contract in the amount of $13,109,688.00 to construct a new parking garage located between Nebraska and Nevada Street and A1A. Due to unforeseen soil condition issues at the new parking garage site between Nevada and Nebraska Streets, there is a need for a time extension of contract for the Nevada Parking Garage without increase of costs. The requested contract time extension will require project completion by September 25, 2019. The Executive Director of the CRA recommends approval of the time extension.
