The Department of Public Works, Fleet Management Division, on behalf of various City departments requires the purchase of 36 new vehicles to replace a portion of those vehicles that have reached or surpassed their life expectancy and road worthiness by age, mileage and wear, and can no longer be relied upon to perform at required operational levels.
The 36 new vehicles requested are as follows: (1) Police Department: (20) 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe 1500 RWD Police Patrol Vehicles from Stingray Chevrolet costing $774,120.00; (2) Department of Public Works, Facility Maintenance Division: One 2019 Ford F-250 Utility Body Truck, 4x2 from Duval Ford, LLC., costing $32,842.000; (3) Department of Information Technology: One 2019 Ford Escape SUV from Duval Ford, LLC., costing $20,525.00; (4) Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts and Department of Public Works, Streets Maintenance Division: Four 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trucks from Alan Jay Chevrolet, Inc. costing $106,309.00; (5) Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts: Four 2019 Chevrolet Express 2500 LS 12-Passenger Vans from Alan Jay Chevrolet costing $110,717.00; (6) Department of Public Works, Beach Maintenance Division: One 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Truck from Alan Jay Chevrolet costing $31,137.25; (7) Department of Public Works, Urban Forestry Division: One 2019 Ford F-550 Cab & Chassis with 2-3 Yard Dump Body Truck from Duval Ford, LLC., costing $53,858.00; (8) Department of Public Works, Urban Forestry Division: One 2019 International Durastar MV (4x2) with Altect...
