For Up To 180 Days; And Approving And Authorizing The Appropriate CRA Officials To Execute A Second Amendment To The Existing Agreement To Include Certain Operational Changes And Increased Costs Due To The Additional Extension.

Explanation:
This extension option with Maruti is proposed for CRA Board consideration in order to ensure that there is sufficient time for a proper transition between the existing Trolley service and the proposed Free Ride circulator service. The existing extension agreement provides for Trolley service through the end of December. However, it does not appear that the new circulator service with Free Ride will be up and running within that time frame. The proposed extension agreement with Maruti will provide service through the end of June, which should provide ample time for Free Ride to be in service. The parameters of this extension agreement are as follows.
(1) That the 5% cost adjustment set forth in the current agreement be implemented for Maruti's fixed costs retroactive to October 1, 2017 and applicable to the previous 90 day renewal and this extension request.
(2) That the CRA provide compensation to cover Maruti's overhead costs relating to its rental increase for the period of December 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019 which results in an additional 5% increase plus rental tax for a CRA cost of $143.10 per month, however, said compensation will continue until June 30, 2019 even if the CRA terminates the Agreement prior to June 30, 2019.
(3) That Maruti will be permitted to utilize mini-bus gas trolleys in excess of 30 days when necessary.
