Explanation:
A Request for Proposal was issued by the City’s Benefits Consultant, the Gehring Group, for Long Term Disability Insurance coverage and Symetra was recommended due to a 1.9% decrease in premiums from our previous provider. Therefore, the attached Resolution seeks City Commission authorization to implement an agreement for Long Term Disability Insurance for a Not To Exceed amount of 110% of $47,965.00.
