Explanation:
Due to scheduling difficulties, various Commission meetings will be changed to allow greater flexibility to the Commission, staff and residents.
The first regular Commission Meeting on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 shall have citizens’ comments at 5:00 PM.
The second regular Commission meeting on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 shall be rescheduled to Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM with citizens’ comments at 5:00 PM. By moving the meetings during the summer it will allow the Commission, staff and residents more time for preparing the next fiscal year’s budget.
The first regular Commission meeting on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 shall be cancelled.
By canceling the January meeting will allow the Commission, staff and residents more flexibility in preparing items during the holiday season.
Thereafter, regular meetings of the City Commission shall, unless otherwise provided by Resolution, be held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
