Explanation:
The CRA provides supplemental maintenance and safety services in the commercial core and corridors of the Downtown District. These services include the following services from the public right of way: de-littering, the removal of palm fronds that have fallen to the ground, the removal of graffiti from public property, and performing special projects such as the repainting of safety zones and the hanging of special event promotional banners.

on July 26, 2018, a Notice of Bid Availability for RFP-4580-18-JE was posted on the City's Website, advertised and sent to 6,333 firms and viewed by 65 vendors on Bidsync.com in accordance with Section 38.42(A)(1) of the City's Purchasing Ordinance. The following four firms submitted proposals: Block by Block, Bum Hunters Carpet & Tile, Miami Patrol Eagle Protection and SFM Services, Inc. The evaluation of the proposals was based on the criteria as established in the RFP: Experience in Implementing Similar Programs; Project Organization and Technical Qualifications of the Persons Assigned to the Project; Project Understanding, Proposed Approach and Methodology to Maintain a Clean and Safe Urban Environment; References and Successfully Completed Similar Projects; Cost to the CRA and Local Preference.
