Explanation:

Dawn Louise Meyer, Owner of the property has initiated development submittals to demolish the existing single family home on the property located at 4231 N. 58th Avenue and construct 14,200 SF of Office Space and 58 midrise residential units.

 

Avirom and Associates, Inc., acting on behalf of the owner, has submitted application P-18-02 for review and approval of a plat to be known as the “58 Oak” Plat, as described in Exhibit “A” attached. As a condition of approval, the Owner requested to installing a bus shelter with amenities on east bound Stirling Road adjacent to the project site if allowed by Broward County Transit and dedicate an easement for placement of bus shelter. If the installation of a bus stop is not allowed at this location, the applicant is to contribute to the City the funds to construct a bus shelter at a location to be determined.

 

Article 6 of the City’s Zoning and Land Development Regulations requires that plats be submitted to the City Commission for consideration of approval, and the City’s Subdivision Review Committee has reviewed the proposed plat application P-18-02 and determined it to be consistent with code requirements, and therefore, recommends its approval.  Broward County Development Review Report is attached as Exhibit “B”. As part of Site Plan review and Plat Concurrency review.
