Staff Recommends:  Approval of the Attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

The Hollywood Art and Culture Center, Inc. currently plans and coordinates performing arts programs at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center (HCPAC).

 

The previous agreement with Hollywood Art and Culture Center (HACC) expired on September 30, 2018.

 

On December 6, 2017, the City of Hollywood City Commission passed and adopted Resolution R-2017-365, which authorized the City and Hollywood Art and Culture Center, Inc. to enter into a one-year agreement to plan and coordinate performing arts programs at the HCPAC in the amount of $70,000.00.

 

The Director of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts recommends that the City Commission approve the attached agreement with HACC to continue with the performing arts programs at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center.

 

Funding has been appropriated in the City`s FY2019 budget, account number 01.3167.00000.572.003117.
