Explanation:

 

The City of Hollywood, Marine Advisory Board was established by the City Commission to develop ways to increase revenue from marine industries sector in Hollywood.

 

The Marine Advisory Board is comprised of nine (9) voting members with representatives from the following categories: three (3) Marine Industry Professionals, three (3) Residents and three (3) Members.

 

The Board identifies goals and objectives on an annual basis and provides input to develop ways to increase revenue from marine industries sector in Hollywood.

 

Chuck Smith served as a Resident and his term expires on June 30, 2018.

 

Due to the resignation of Steven Druck, who served as a Professional there is now a vacancy which must be filled for the remainder of his term which expires on June 30, 2019.

 

The City Clerk provided notice to the public that positions were available and solicited interest forms from the community to fill the current vacancies.
