Explanation:
On July 6, 2016, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2016-198 extending the existing management agreement with JCD Golf of Florida, Inc. ("JCD") for an additional two (2) year period with an option to renew for a two (2) year period in order to continue the operation of the Orangebrook Golf and Country Club.
Section 21 of said Management Agreement permits JCD to sublease its food and beverage operation to a third party, upon the approval of the City Commission.
On August 31, 2016, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2016-240 approving the extension of the existing sublease agreement between JCD and Nikki's on the Green, Inc., from October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2018.
The City Manager has approved the two year renewal for the JCD contract to continue the operation of the Orangebrook Golf and Country Club from October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2020.
The current sublease expires on September 30, 2018, however, JCD and Nikki's on the Green, Inc. desire to extend the agreement beginning October 1, 2018, through September 30, 2019, under the same terms and conditions as set forth in the August 10, 2011, agreement (as amended in 2014) with the contract payments to be $4,000.00 for October and November and $5,000.00 per month from December through April and $4,000.00 per month from May through September.
