The Public Utilities department requires thirteen (13) new vehicles to replace a portion of their aging fleet, these vehicles are for maintenance and operational services.
The thirteen (13) new vehicles being requested are as follows: One 2018 Chevrolet Express 2500 Cargo Van, from Auto Nation Chevrolet costing $25,075.00, Two 2018 Chevrolet Express 3500 HD Crew Cab Service Body Trucks, from Auto Nation Chevrolet costing $97,732.00, One 2018 Chevrolet City Express Cargo Mini Van, from Stingray Chevrolet costing $24,341.00, Five 2019 Ford Pickup Truck 4X2, from Duval Ford, LLC costing $129,010.00, Three 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Service Body Trucks, from Alan Jay Chevrolet, Inc. costing $116,619.75, One 2019 Ford F-550 4X2Truck with Crane Body, from Palmetto Ford Truck Sales, Inc. costing $105,468.00.
On October 13, 2017, the Florida Sheriffs Association, approved and authorized the award of Bid Number FSA17-VEL25.0 for Police Rated, Administrative, Utility vehicles, Trucks, and Vans for a term, effective December 20, 2017 through September 30, 2018.
On October 13, 2017, the Florida Sheriffs Association, approved and authorized the award of Bid Number FSA17-VEL15.0 for Cabs & Chassis and Other Fleet Equipment for a term, effective October 13, 2017 through September 30, 2018.
