The Department of Public Utilities is requesting to purchase one six-inch attenuated, trailer mounted pump from Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co., Inc.
The requested vehicle was competitively bid through the Florida Sheriff's Association, pursuant to Bid Number FSA17-VEH15.0 - Cab & Chassis Trucks and Other Fleet Equipment.
The Southern Region's awarded vendor, Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co., Inc. provided Quote Number WPB-AC-052-2018 based on the awarded contract pricing.
Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co. Inc. is the awarded contractor for the City of Hollywood in the Southern Region.
Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co., Inc. has agreed to provide the pumps as listed in the Florida Sheriff's Association Bid Number FSA17-VEH15.0 to the City under the same pricing, terms and conditions.
The Director of Public Utilities and the Director of Procurement & Contract Compliance recommend that the City Commission approve the attached quote for the purchase of one Thompson Pump Model 6JSCEE-DIST-4LE2T-MC from Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co., Inc.
