Explanation:
The Department of Public Works has identified a need to replace the roof above the David Park Tennis Center Building. Specifications and details to replace the roof were prepared by a Consultant and City staff, and the Notice to Bidders was issued on www.bidsync.com on April 23, 2018. A total (52) fifty-two vendors viewed the documents and (5) vendors downloaded the documents. A Non-Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting was held at the site on May 8, 2018 and two (2) contractors reviewed the existing conditions on the roof. One (1) bid was received and publicly opened on May 22, 2018. The administration found the bid submitted by Full Cover Roofing Systems, Inc., to be responsive and responsible and recommend the award of this Contract in the amount of $44,200.00. This project was approved in the FY2018 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and funding is available account no. 34.5100.18132.519.006302 and no.34.5116.16132.519.006302.
