Explanation:
The City of Hollywood, has established Local Housing Assistance Plans pursuant to Chapter 160, City of Hollywood Code of Ordinances.
The Local Housing Assistance Plans have been created to support owner-occupied housing rehabilitation, demolition and reconstruction, disaster repair, tenant-based rental assistance, acquisition, disaster recovery assistance, new construction, purchase assistance and program administration.
Staff requests to amend the Local Housing Assistance Plan that includes State of Florida fiscal years 2016-2017, 2017-2018, and 2018-2019 in order to recognize a 2017-2018 SHIP Disaster allocation and allocate additional program income.
The attached amendment includes a new Owner-Occupied Sewer Connection Strategy, and revises the Project Delivery Cost limits, the Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Strategy, the Demolition/Reconstruction Strategy, the Disaster Repair Strategy, Tenant Based Assistance - Rental Strategy, and the Acquisition/Rehabilitation Strategy.
