Explanation:
The Office of the City Clerk provided notice to the public that positions were available and solicited interest forms from residents to fill the available vacancies.
The Community Development Advisory Board presently has two board positions available due to the term expirations of Siobhan McLaughlin, and Martin Shuham.
CDAB members shall be qualified electors in the City and priority shall be given to representatives from geographical areas of the City designated as qualified by the United States Census Bureau as having greater than 51% concentrations of low/moderate income (LMI) persons.
Currently, there are eleven CDAB members and four members are from LMI areas of the City (Mitchell Anton, James De Miles, Siobhan McLaughlin, and Milana Walter). Martin Shuham is seeking re-appointment, but does not reside in an LMI area of the City. Siobhan McLaughlin is not seeking re-appointment and does reside in an LMI area of the City. There are three applicants who reside in an LMI area of the City.
