Explanation:
Due to two terms on the Civil Service Board expiring on June 30, 2018, the Office of the City Clerk advertised to fill upcoming Board vacancies.
The current incumbents and positions are, Susan Triano, an individual employed or previously employed in the private sector in a management position; and Samuel Bentolila, an individual self-employed or previously self-employed.
The Director of Human Resources is recommending that the Commission appoint two applicants, one individual from each category from the list of qualified applicants, to fill the upcoming two vacancies on the Board for a two year term.
