Explanation:
The CRA identified a need for tree trimming services on the side-streets of Hollywood Beach between A1A to the Broadwalk and from Tyler Street to Cleveland Street and issued Bid Number F-4495-16-RL on December 16, 2015. The Bid was electronically advertised via BidSync in accordance with the City's Purchasing Ordinance, Section 38.42
After all bids received were evaluated, the CRA Executive Director and the Director of Procurement Services Division recommended that the CRA Board approve an award to EDJ Service, Inc., now known as EDJ Tree Service, LLC, of Davie, Florida ("EDJ"), for an estimated annual expenditure of $71,000.00. The award was subject to the City of Hollywood's receipt and approval of all insurance certificates required by the City's Risk Manager, and indemnity to the City. The term for services was for an initial two year period, with the right to renew for two additional two year periods providing that all terms, conditions and specifications remain the same, both parties agree to the renewal, and such renewal is approved by the CRA.
At this time, the CRA recommends exercising the right to renew the blanket purchase order for a two year period. The renewal will be subject to the City of Hollywood's receipt and approval of all insurance certificates required by the City's Risk Manager, and indemnity to the City.
Funding for the attached blanket purchase order has been appropriated and exists in account number 63.0185.00180.552.004637 - Capital Improvement Maintenance.
