Explanation:
The Department of Public Utilities may, from time to time, request the assistance of Lighthouse Utility Consulting, Inc. (“Lighthouse”) to attend meetings, provide analyses or otherwise support the Department in utility rate and financial matters.
Such utility rate and financial matters may include financial analyses, rate ordinance reviews, rate comparison analyses, rate studies, agreement interpretation analyses, and other miscellaneous tasks.
The Department of Public Utilities requested a proposal from Lighthouse to provide miscellaneous consulting services.
Lighthouse Utility Consulting and the City of Hollywood have a Professional Services Agreement for Consulting Services, which was authorized by City Commission Resolution R-2015-250 on August 26, 2015.
Administration recommends that the City Commission authorize the appropriate City officials to execute the attached Authorization to Proceed for Work Order No. LH-18-02 with Lighthouse for an amount not to exceed $100,000.00.
Funding for the attached Authorization to Proceed for Work Order No. LH-18-02 has been appropriated and exists in account number 42.4000.85860.536.003130 and was included in the FY 2018 Capital Improvement Program that was approved via Resolution R-2017-289;
