Explanation:
December 6, 2017, Resolution, No. R-CRA 2017-53 authorized the appropriate CRA officials to negotiate and execute continuing contracts with ranked firms to provide traffic engineering services for capital improvement projects; and
Marlin Engineering, Inc. and Toole Design Group, LLC were ranked as one of the qualified firms for consideration; and
The CRA entered into a contract with Marlin Engineering, Inc. and Toole Design Group, LLC to provide traffic engineering services; and
The CRA followed the procedures established in Florida Statute Section 287.055, the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act, to procure services from such consulting firms; and
Services to be accomplished under this contract will include, but not be limited to, traffic engineering studies, project oversight, data collection, traffic analysis, AutoCAD drafting, cost estimates, agency coordination, and other related projects; and
The cumulative amount of fees to be paid for architectural and engineering services provided by Marlin Engineering, Inc. shall not exceed $146,246.00; and
The cumulative amount of fees to be paid for architectural and engineering services provided by Toole Design Group, LLC. shall not exceed $27,503.00; and
Funding for the this service is available from the FY 2018 Downtown CRA operating budget in account number 66.0186.00190.552.003117 - Consulting Services (Plan/Arch/Eng);
