Staff Recommends: Approval of the Attached Resolution.

 

 

Explanation:

On July 16, 2014, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2014-225 which authorized City Officials to negotiate and execute agreements with the three (3) highest ranked firms for Structural Engineering Services. The firms were:

                     

                     Ladkas/Yohalem Engineering, Inc

Fort Lauderdale, FL

 

                     DeRrose Design Consultants, Inc.

Pompano Beach, FL

 

                     TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc.

Plantation, FL

 

The negotiated agreements were for an initial three (3) years with the right to renew for two (2) subsequent one year terms.  This Resolution will allow the firms to renew for the first one (1) year renewal term under the same terms and conditions.

 

These contracts allow the City to hire firms as needed to consult on capital improvement and maintenance projects. Each contract cannot exceed $1,000.00.00
