Explanation:

Each year the City of Hollywood develops a legislative agenda in order to direct staff to monitor bills that may have a direct or indirect impact upon the City.  This allows the City to participate in the legislative process, which will benefit the residents of Hollywood.

 

The City of Hollywood has identified the major priorities of the legislative agenda proposed for the 2018 in Exhibit “A”, which include amendment of regulations for vacation rental properties to allow municipalities to regulate frequency and duration; funding for beach renourishment, sand-by pass, ocean outfall closure, and resiliency project; and the preservation of local mitigation provision in the Seminole Compact.
