Explanation:
The Department of Development Services, Engineering Division had received an application request for Waiver of Plat for the property at 5917 Lee Street. Upon review of the application, dedication of the south 25 feet of the subject property will be required to provide for a consistent right-of-way alignment along the north side of Lee Street within this block for future roadway and other public purposes. The dedication will be done through a Permanent Easement document with acceptance by the City Commission. The area to be dedicated is legally described in the Permanent Easement document and as indicated in the Location Map attached.
The Waiver of Plat application was triggered by the property owner’s desire to demolish the existing residential building structure and replace with a new structure.
