Explanation:

State Road 7 (441) is a part of the State Highway System and is contained in the Florida Department of Transportation’s adopted Work Program for roadway maintenance improvement. It is the intent of FDOT to aesthetically enhance the corridor by making landscape and/or streetscape improvements within the medians, outside the travel lane and made to the travel lane, at the request of the City.  These additional improvements are in the best interest of both the City of Hollywood and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

FDOT requires this understanding between the City of Hollywood and FDOT be formalized through the execution of the attached Highway Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement.
