Explanation:
On January 18, 2017, pursuant to Resolution R-CRA-2017-05, the CRA Board authorized the appropriate CRA official to negotiate and execute a contract with the highest ranked firm selected to provide architectural and engineering services for twenty (20) lifeguard towers/first aid stations.
CRA and City Staff requested a proposal from the highest ranked Consultant to provide professional architectural and engineering services for the lifeguard tower and first aid facilities.
The services to be accomplished under this contract will include, but not be limited to, architectural and construction drawings, AutoCAD drafting, cost estimates, and other related projects.
The cumulative amount of fees to be paid for architectural and engineering services provided by CPZ Architects, Inc. shall not exceed $106,047.00.
Funding for this service is available from the FY 2017 Beach CRA operating budget in account number 63.0100.14815.552.006301 (Construction Improvement - Lifeguard Towers.
