The Fire Rescue and Beach Safety Department is honored to present the following Citizens Lifesaving Award to:
Jose Cabrera
Samuel Rivera
and
Ryan Seilkop
On May 5, 2017, students at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School were attending their Senior Day picnic at T.Y. Park when they witnessed a car plunge into the lake. Three of these students jumped in and successfully rescued the driver and a pet from the submerged vehicle. For their swift and heroic actions, the City of Hollywood Fire Rescue and Beach Safety Department would like to recognize these students with the Life Saving Award of Recognition.
