Explanation:
Due to three (3) terms on the Civil Service Board expiring on June 30, 2017, and one (1) vacant position expiring on June 30, 2018, the Office of the City Clerk advertised to fill upcoming Board vacancies.
The incumbents and positions are, Stanley Swiderski, an individual employed or previously employed by the private sector in a personnel administration position; Dr. Jalane Meloun and Mary Mites-Campbell, an individual employed or previously employed in the private section in a non-management position; Mitchell Anton, an individual employed or previously employed by a public employer; and Samuel Bentolila, an individual self-employed or previously self-employed.
The Director of Human Resources is recommending that the Commission appoint four (4) applicants, one (1) individual from each category from the above lists, to fill the four (4) vacancies on the Civil Service Board.
