Explanation:

The Police Department desires to apply for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Justice grant funds which if awarded, will provide for reimbursement of overtime costs incurred due to the Hollywood Police Department’s participation in the January 6, 2017 active shooter incident at the Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale Airport.  The grant application seeks an award of $20,000.00.
