The City recognizes service award recipients twice a year, in May and October. Dwayne Chung from the Police Department was selected as the May 2017 Diamond Service Award recipient for his reliable and superior work habits, teamwork and customer service excellence. He has been employed with the City for over 26 years. The Diamond Service Award Selection Committee will recognize eight (8) Diamond Service Award nominees, and then present the Diamond Service Award to Dwayne Chung. Following the presentation of the Diamond, the Team Diamond Service Award will be presented to the Code Compliance Division. To conclude, one hundred and seventeen (117) City employees, and four (4) CRA employees will be recognized in the Service Awards Ceremony for their 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of service to the City of Hollywood.
