The American Water Works Association (AWWA) celebrates the first full week in May as “Drinking Water Week”, a nationally proclaimed observance. This year, Drinking Water Week is May 7 - 13, 2017. Since 1994 the City of Hollywood schools participate in the “Drop Savers” Water Conservation Poster Contest sponsored by the Florida Section/AWWA. Dawn “Ali” Parker, Regulatory Compliance Officer, will be presenting the Awards at the May 3, 2017 Commission Meeting.
