Explanation:
National Arbor Day is celebrated every year in April to recognize all the wonderful contributions that trees bring into our daily lives. Some of these contributions include reduction of erosion, cutting heating and cooling costs, production of oxygen and providing habitat for wildlife. In conjunction with the National Arbor Day celebration a volunteer project is scheduled on April 27, 2017 to coincide with the Arbor Day celebration and includes the planting of Orange Geiger trees and a butterfly garden at Attucks Middle School.
