Explanation:

The CRA seeks to build a cultural infrastructure that celebrates the arts and uses the arts as an effective strategy for increasing economic activity. The CRA has implemented a program that utilizes a vinyl product to wrap nineteen (19) signalization cabinets with decorative images, located within the Downtown District of the CRA. A similar successful program on A1A acted as a pilot program for other areas of the CRA Districts.

On July 6, 2016, the CRA Board approved Resolution R-CRA-2016-23 authorizing the expenditure of $12,000.00 for the wrap for signalization cabinets and the execution by the appropriate City Officials of Community Aesthetic Feature Agreement between the FDOT and the CRA.  The CRA Resolution, Cabinet Design and CAFA executed by CRA Officials are attached as Exhibit A.

To complete the License Agreement for the CAFA, FDOT requires a City of Hollywood Resolution approving the Design and Installation of the Decorative Wraps and the previously executed Community Aesthetic Feature Agreement.
