Explanation:
Pursuant to Florida Statute section 197.3632(2), the City of Hollywood has existing agreements with the Broward County Property Appraiser and Broward County to provide administrative services necessary for the City's use of the uniform method for the billing and collection of non-ad valorem assessments.

The City's non-ad valorem assessments agreements with the Broward County Property Appraiser and Broward County to bill and collect, include the Fire Rescue Assessment, Fire Inspection Assessment, the Nuisance Abatement Assessment, the South 30th Avenue Sewer Assessment and the Adams Street Sewer Assessment; and

The City desires to develop and implement a non-ad valorem assessment roll for the year 2017 and succeeding years to be used for billing purposes utilizing the annual property tax bill. The previous agreement concluded with the prior Property Appraiser's term in office, where as the proposed interlocal agreements shall continue from year to year and may be cancelled by either party.

The interlocal agreements stipulate that the City is to hold the Property Appraiser harmless for any repercussions resulting from new material changes of assessments that may arise in the future, if any, not being reflected on the TRIM Notice, or in the file passed to the Revenue Collector.
