Explanation:
The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) celebrates the month of April as “Water Conservation Month.” April is typically a dry month when water demands are most heightened, and it is important to call upon the citizens and businesses of the City of Hollywood to practice water saving measures and become more aware of the need to save water.
In recognition of April as Water Conservation Month, a proclamation will be presented to Ms. Lorraine Myers of the South Florida Water Management District at the April 5, 2017 Commission Meeting.
